it is compulsory to maintain a register as described by shops and estab. act. u can even keep it on comouter but to be allowed to do that, u need to have a document and fill a form as an evidence after which the shops and estab. ppl allow you to keep a soft copy.

attendance on software or excel is alright only if it is within the company. but if it is to be shown to shops and estab. ppl, they do not accept it.
