Dear Senior,
In my company leave salary provided or encash on basic while LWP deduction made on gross salary
so the employee ask "company providing leave salary on basic while they are deducting LWP on gross. they argue that if company providing leave salary as basic then company should deduct LWP on basic only instead of gross salary
Kindly give your comment for this query as per rules.

LWP is on Gross. Leave salary is a benefit given to the employees and it can not be compared with salary calculation. Suppose an employee is on LWP for the entire month, is he eligible to receive the salary excluding the basic? The answer is clear NO.
