Dear experts:
I need your inputs/suggestions/advice on "how to manage a temporary staff cum assistant in a Training & Development Department".
I am a Training Manager and the only one to be managing and conducting trainings for the employees in my firm - one person show.
As I would be going on maternity leave after a couple of months my company has hired a temporary staff on contract. However, they've decided to have her joined at the earliest and that would be tomorrow.
Please may I have your advice on managing her.
Thank you.
Regards,
KVE

Hi Kappu,
Best wishes for your maternity leave. It may be too late for interacting with you on this forum. However, I too am sailking in the same boat - the sole Training Manager in my organisation. I would like to interact with you more and often so as to learn from you about how to manage being the sole responsible owner.
Thanks and Regards,
Avani Bhatnagar.

Hello Kappu,
I am too from Pune.
It is not very clear what you seek as managing the temporary staff - is it behaviour wise, work quality wise, or any other issue ? Please clearly state to reply suitably.

Hi Kappu,
I think the query is incomplete, as even Vaishalee also mentioned.
You have two months to understand each other work wise, talk to her about her expectations and yours too.
Involve her in work and see how she is managing, it will give you confidence.
will await your response...
