You can take the ratio and refer your retention policy with %. You will get recruitment cost.
For turnover production can help you.
for training training 1. if in house training the cost will be less and 2. if the training can conduct from out site the cost will be high.
take the advise for training your technical HOD advise and can go through
Thanks

Hi Mukesh
Very Interesting Query, I m looking forward to answers on this forum, it will be really helpful for all of us.
There are several ways to calculate cost of recruitment and training but actual detailed cost is difficult to ascertain. It also depends upon cost recording from industry to industry. Kindly provide details for discussion
Nature of Company
Number of Business Division
Number of Employees
Basis of Cost ascertainment (Hourly, Weekly, Monthly etc)
Type of Trainings (External or In-house)
Thanks

Dear Muki,
Let me explain the cost of recruitment.
The cost involved in the recruitment activities as follows:
Telephone charges for contacting the candidates
Conversion of recruitment co-ordinators man hours into cost
Panel memebers cost (i.e If 3 members happen to be in the panel you need to calculate 3 hrs salary of the three staff)
Conveyance reimbursement of the candidates(Though you select one person the expenses reimbursed for all the candidates who have attended interview need to be considered)
If you are sourcing throu placement consultant you need to include the professional charges of the agency into
the recruitment cost.

The sum of said expenses are covered under recruitment cost.

We should always search CiteHR, as Aussiejohn keeps requesting, before posting a query. For example, a search for Recruitment cost would have led to https://www.citehr.com/36149-how-cal...cruitment.html
Every Ratio has two components, a numerator and a denominator. Thus without clearly knowing what these two are, it's like asking "How long is a piece of string?" Or "How do I get to New Delhi?"
Have a nice day.

Hi
You can consider various aspect to calculate recruitment cost. Which is rightly mentioned earlier in the post
1.Hourly Salaries of interviewers (HRs and Technical Interviewers )
2.Transport & Other facility cost of candidates
3.Other charges ( Phone Bills, Electricity, Rent, Stationery, Printing, Advertising, medical check-ups etc)*
4.Vendors Cost (Consultancy firm, Subscription cost, Headhunter’s commission etc )*
* Other charges can be apportioned according to the extent of use by respective departments / divisions.
(1+2+3+4) = Hiring Cost
Average cost of Recruitment = Hiring Cost / Number of candidates interviewed.
You may calculate the cost on hourly, daily, weekly, monthly basis and get the result for cost of recruitments. However please keep this in mind to bring all the cost to equal platform such as hourly, daily or monthly basis.
Hope this is helpful
