Dear Shailesh,

As you have sought for comments, I respond to your request

a) If you are going to make it as a presentation, I would recommend that you can concise the content against each bullet (Not more than two lines). The descriptive part of the bullet can be explained by you when you make the presentation.

b) You can consider changing the colour of the font. Because, red is normally associated with workmen category and you will surely agree that the supervisor is more of a management representative. In my opinion black should be OK.

c) The role of a supervisor is also to collect objective data against PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale) by plotting Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Performance Efficiency (PE), Machine Availability (MA), Quality Rating (QR), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), Accident Rate, Severity Rate, Statistical Quality Control, Measurement Systems Analysis. A lot more of these data is available on the Websites for you to collect.

d) These suggestions are given because gone are the days when conventional supervison worked, these days managements are demanding objective results from supervisors and not merely controlling workmen.

Dear Shailesh
First of all thanks for sharing with us such a nice presentation...
Few Oppertunities for Improvement as below:
1. Agree with the comments of Mr. M.V Kannan... You may modify the presentation... What will happen if you present this much of write up is that all will be busy in reading the disply and there will be less attention to what you saying... So keep bullets and explain more...
2. As the audiance is Supervisors for making the session more interesting one incluse pictures/videos into the presentation.
3. Include if feel required the responsibilities of Supervisiors(Middle Management) mentioned under Factories Act... They will feel that we are not saying what comes in our mind... But they feels that they also bound under the law ... I think it will give more impact...Attaching a presentatin with few slides... You may include it...
