Dear All
Following arised in my mind after gone through the attachment... Please help in clear it...
1. What is the differance between Working Load Limit (WLL) & Safe Working Load (SWL)?
2. Maximum allowable temparature for flexible steel wire rope is 95 degree celcious as per the document. What damages will come if the FSWR is exposed to more than 95 degree celcious? If exposed to how much duration this damages start occuring?
Few more doubts, but will bring it up once get positive reply's to the above...
Thanks in advance...

Hai Dipil,
WLL work load limit is determined by the manufacturers but SWL is determined by a third party inspection authority.SWL is always lower than the WLL.
I have no idea regarding the effects of temperature on metalic slings.I Have no experience in such cases or never seen high temperature effects on metalic slings or ropes.
