Dear Friends,
My friend has left UAE due to his father death 10 days ago, He is on his probation at the moment. While in India he has offered a job from a Saudi Company. Now he doesn't want to come back to UAE as he is only on one day notice so its waste of time and money to come back to UAE for one day. My question is how his visa can be cancelled as he is in india? Is there any way Employer can cancel his visa without his orignal passport or without himself present in UAE? And can he get Saudi visa if his visa for UAe is not cancelled? And how he can have cancelled stamp on his passport is it really important to have that stamp or not? Please help urgent thanks

Hi!!
Your friend will not have any trouble in applying Saudi visa only thing he needs do is apply for an additional passport as UAE employment visa and Saudi visa(employment visa) cannot be stamped on same passport.
And your friends employer can cancel his employment visa after six months of his exit. For this cancellation your friend need not be present their physically. But make sure your friends labor card is with his employer if not then he needs to sent it for cancellation.
I hope this information will be helpful.

Dear Sohini,
Thanks for your reply. Just one more thing if he does't come back will his employer put him in runaway list of government and will he ban forever from UAE. As if you go from dubai without cancelling visa you get whole life ban and if you come here u will get jailed. Thanks

Dear Salmish
I assume that, it may be you(friend) who is trying to acquire information about VISA CANCELLATION PROCESS.
I have no idea about UAE VISA CANCELLATION PROCESS but, Whatever Ms.Sohini had posted is the fact. Without ORIGINAL PASSPORT, it is not possible to cancel the visa. But, VISA will get expired proportional to is validity.
a) If any employee is holding valid EMPLOYMENT VISA pertaining to GCC - SAUDI, QATAR, BAHRAIN, OMAN, KUWAIT EMPLOYMENT VALID VISA then, one can proceed further for STAMPING - UAE EMPLOYMENT VISA, as there are NO RESTRICTIONS imposed by UAE MINISTRY.
b) To the contrary, one can apply for any GCC COUNTRY EMPLOYMENT VISA but, for PHYSICAL VISA STAMPING(in your passport) other country's(GCC) EMPLOYMENT VISA should be CANCELED or should have got EXPIRED.
I strongly advice your friend to travel back to UAE, submit his Resignation with ONE MONTH NOTICE, get clear all your documents. Mean while, your new employer can process your visa and you fly to KSA from UAE. This is the best available for your friend, if he doesn't want to loose his job.
with profound regards
