Dear Seniors,
In my organisation, we have a practice of calculating the working days from 26th to 25th and paying salary by 1st of next month.
Till now we are filing PF and ESI mannually that is why there is no issue, but now these both became online. the system is not accepting period because if we are paying for the month of Feb we are calculating for 31days but the system accepts only for 28days the same for the next months also because of the variation of 30, 31 days. please tell me the solution.
Thanks

Hi surekha,
In my view, for administrative convenience in your company is maintaining the attendance mentioned as above. So, you consider the salary period is 1st to 30th / 31st of every month, but, you close the attendance by 25th of every month. If anyone availed any leave / absent you may consider in next month salary generation, then your problem will be solved.

all most all somany compnies following this procudure i.e. closing the attendance by 25th of every month. But that is not a problem , u consider the salary for how many day in that particular month. after 25th If any one have any leaves and absents u can consider for next month only.
