Hi Guys,
The crux of the story is the message - which is: "Enjoy yourself. It is later than you think".
What it means is that - all of us in our daily hustle and bustle of life, keep ourselves so busy that many a time we forget to enjoy ourselves. We keep postponing our happiness. We keep saying things like, "After the kids grow up, we will relax", or "After I achieve this, I will take that long postponed holiday". We keep saying "later... later..." to many things that we enjoy.
But who has seen tomorrow? All those people in Japan for instance had each of them made their own plans for the future - but in a flash of a second, it was so tragically wiped off.
So, the lesson is: Dont be too hard on yourself. Enjoy yourself today. Dont keep saving that special dress for some special occassion. Dont wait to tell people who matter to you, how much they do. Do it today.
Hope I have been able to explain the gist of the letter to you. :-)
