Hi,
Learn, give your best, and do not try hard to impress others. Just be your self, six months is good enough period to show your skills, knowledge and abilities. Enjoy, know about company, adapt the culture and put your best efforts to complete the project.

Hi
Hope you are enjoying your internship and the people associated at workplace.

You have posted a very interesting query which has got a huge meaning to deliver.

As a intern, you want to impress your management so that they retain you after completion of your internship

Please concentrate and understand my points:
a) IMPRESS is a word that gives a different kind of meaning when its comes to PERFORMANCE. Sometimes it does sound SELFISH as well.

b) I agree with Ms. Archna, as she had suggested you to LEARN, GIVE YOUR BEST. I suggest you to UNDERSTAND YOURSELF, KNOW YOUR ABILITIES, CAPABILITIES, PREFERENCE, QUALITIES, STRENGTH, WEAKNESS along with those with whomsoever you are working or about to work.

c) GAINING KNOWLEDGE is not an easy task. As time passes by you'll gain knowledge as you gain HARDCORE EXPERIENCE. For example a DIAMOND has less value when extracted from mother earth but when one gives a shape by using his creativity skills, his value grows...but again one has to be very carefully while shaping a diamond else it will be of no value at all......APPLY THE SAME PROCESS IN YOUR LIFE.

d) Understand the WORK CULTURE, ENVIRONMENT, ETHICS OF ORGANIZATION and CONCENTRATE ON YOUR PROJECT.

e) DO ALWAYS GOOD but don't expect GRATITUDE IN RETURN.

f) Never learn HOW TO BUTTER UP PEOPLE, HYPOCRISY and lot more BAD HABITS which will spoil your mind and your career.

g) Always THINK POSITIVE, PRACTICE POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE, LOOK FOR GOOD IN EVERYTHING, GAIN TOTAL CONTROL, BE SMART etc.

h) TAKE 100% RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUR LIFE and NEVER BLAME ANYBODY AS EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN SETBACKS....FOCUS, CONCENTRATE, UNDERSTAND AND GROW SLOWLY.....STEP BY STEP...

Have a nice career and future..

with profound regards

Hi,
Always use your best judgement, be honest and work hard very hard.
6 month is too long or too short depend on you how you leverage it.
Most important follow L3 rule (love, learn and laugh) in your new role and org.
