As per the ESI Act, establishments with 10 or more employees will be covered under ESI..
My question is whether the Directors are to be considered for calculation of the number of employees? Please note that in our co. we have 3 no.s of Directors who are shareholders and also getting Director's remuneration and don't have any Managing Directors as such..!
NB:I know that MD's are generally covered but I have doubt that whether the same is applicable for shareholding Directors.
Plz guide.
