Dear Mr.Kamran Husain,
As you are aware the IT is based on the savings that you make on different heads including housing loan.
Broadly, it can be stated that the Conveyance is exempt to a maximum of Rs.800/-per month. Medical reimbursements to a maximum of Rs.15K per annum and LTA if claimed twice in a block of 4 calendar years. To my knowledge there is no cap on the amount of LTA.
Rest of the exemptions are available in form of HRA or Housing loan etc
