Hi
I work for a company that doesnt provide salary slip as a custom. I think the salary components are Basic, HRA & LTA.
I wanted to know that can I still submit medical expense slips for tax exemption purpose?
Thanks in advance.

I think medical reimbursement upto 15000/- p.a is tax exempted. If the Employer is not reimbursing or there is no medical assistance in the pay, then the medical expenses can not be claimed for tax exemption as it is not part of the earning. However, medical expenses incurred in abroad is tax exempted upto 2.00 L.

Medical Refurbishment must be component of your salary then you can claim by submitting Medical Expense Slip. Medical Refurbishment upto 15000 is Tax Free.
