Tries to inculcate a saving habit.
Three years can be termed as 1000+ days or 36 Months.
Considering the interest rate, is it not worth to do, at least, one transaction in 3 years?
Those who oppose this move are doing only lip service.
Compare with Bank's Savings Account - if there's no transactions, even for one year, the account is being frozen. Read their valid justification(s).
Take a call based on holistic view and long term implications.
