Hi, I am working in an IT - MNC company for past two years. Earlier was handling all the HR activities of the company alone, also had one assistant but she has also left. I was on my marriage leave and my company, recruited one HR Manager. I was asked to report to manager after i came from leave, earlier was reporting to GM and CEO of the company. However the entire creamy job is taken care by new HR and junior recruitments are taken care by me. Moreover my company CEO informed that company has plans of expansion in some cases i am not taken into consideration. I am finding this situation quite uncomfortable. I don’t want to leave job since I and my husband are working in same company. But can you suggest what should I do,do I have future with company.

Hi Ritu, Pls. do not use this forum for personal queries, if u cannot take decision on your career how can in HR -Dept. Pls. take it +vely and think. Regards Jayaraj
Hey Ritu!
Sorry to hear about ur situation. But then u need to sort it out otherwise you will surely lose interest in your work.
Why dont you talk to your seniors (CEO & GM) about this. Tell them how uncomfortable you are feeling with this new HR Manager stepping in. After all if you have been working in that company for the last 2 yrs.. surely you must have built a good rapport with them.
Also... start working even harder than before.. so that you can win the confidence of this New Mgr... and perhaps he might assign you additional responsibilities.. that will boost ur morale also.
I hope everything turns out to be the way you want them to!!
Regards,
Sushma.
PS : Jayraj, I felt you were unnecessarily rude to her. I dont see any reason why she can't use this forum for her personal queries. After all we are all here to help one another. {Please take it +vely & think  )

Dear All,
Thanks giving me suggestions. I have talked with seniors. I told them I want to be part of team like whenever any new policy is made I should be part of it, so that even I can also give my inputs. Even they have agreed but from some days I have seen new HR and management does things on their own without taking me into consideration, even though I take new HR into consideration. I have worked very hard for the company to set things right.
I have discussed with my husband and decided to leave the job. So friends if you know any HR vacancy at Ahmedabad pl let me know. Since I am already loaded with lot of recruitments I would be quite difficult me to find job it at the earliest.
Thanks again all for your true suggestions.

Appreciate. THe world is changing and Companies r on the lookout for good experience hand who could deliver something different and if ur company don't want ur experience then "quit" its ur companies loss !!
You now have a chance to be a part of a new culture by joining another company.

Dear Ritu,
You have taken a decision and you are the best person to decide if its right or not. But frankly, i do not understand why you took that decision. Just picture this, the new firm you join, by your joining, some of your juniors will feel the same as you felt here in this organization. So what is the alternative? They quitting and looking for a change, just the way you did? Just a thought.
