Dear seniors,
I am facing a huge confusion regarding employee background check and i m in a process of drafting and presenting policy on same ,my confusion is that whether which one is fair and safe for both employee and organization:
1) employee check after she has joined organization
2) employee check after she was interviewed and before issuing LOI
please advice if any thing else can be done here

Hi Nikki,
The cos. generally go for Verification after the joining reason being there are many candidates who do not join at the last moment and therefore a lot of cost, energy & time goes waste.
While getting the joining form filled, you get a statement signed from the candidate which says all the information provided by him are correct and if not, the co. has the right to take action on the same.
