Anyone can help me out regarding how will the payment of gratutity will be done in case of death of an employee. Suppose an employee has worked with an organization for 3.6 years and unfortunately he died. What will be the formula for calculating his gratutity???

Gratuity is payable only if an employee completes 5 year of service without breaks as it is a contribution only by the employer and can be claimed by employee only after 5 years

no Mr.Csriloo I Think If employee death & Parmnent Disablment less than 5 yrs service then he is eligble for gratutity. and gratutity caliclation is same B+DA*15/26*no of years. Regards, guru

Your Question is not clear , I mean He has still 11 months of service or he worked 11 Months in an organisation..Please be clear in your point what you going to ask. According to me Person Joined in a company on the first day itself he is Eligible for gratuity.
