In a bonanza for over five crore employees in the organised sector, the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on Wednesday decided to raise interest rate on their retirement savings by 1 percentage point to 9.5% for 2010-11.
The EPF rate has been 8.5% since 2005-06.
