Dear All,
I have joined a company were their are no HR policies or any department.
We have recruited a peon/office boy/pantry boy for internal and external work and now i dnt know how many leaves he is allowed to.
In general we have a policy :
20 earned leaves
10 casual leaves
are we supposed to give all of these to such kind of post?? as we do not have any substitute for him.

Whether or not your company has any HR policies, a peon/office boy on regular roll is entitled to the same number of leaves as any other regular employee.
Merely being a peon or at the lowest level of hierarchy does not make him ineligible to the leave entitlements.
Regards.
