I need to know what all HR related laws are applicable to a non manufacturing company (i.e. Company is in Trading business only). If any standard book or manual or website can be suggested covering basics of applicable laws.

The Statutes applicable for a firm with 20 or more employees will be PF & ESI. However, the other acts viz., minimum wages act, National and festival holidays is as per the discretion of the management.
