Dear HR Team & Friends, Greetings for the day.

I am working in world class MNC group . Recently PMS reviewed & has been finished & HR issued Incr / PI letter to everyone.

Can anybody help me how to processed against management if rating given w/o any PMS review, sign off & justification. Just saying & issued letter of performance below expectation w/o any backup & supporting.

Even I discuss with CEO / HR head but in vain. My boss has change in last month back only so new boss rating for me is zero for entire year. And my earlier boss rating not considered for PMS. EVEN same thing i discuss with HR / CEO how this is possible. But Just saying we recd lot of complaints so rating zero w/o any supporting data. In fact i have shown them all my KRA/KPI which has meet on time but said we dont know ???

so its total demotivational thing & against the policy rule.

NOTE -- EARLIER 11 MONTH BOSS RATED ME GOOD NEW BOSS 1 MTH RATED ME ZERO / EVEN HR / CEO NOT SUPPORTING

EVEN MY EARLIER BOSS NOT HAPPY WITH ALL THIS RATING BUT HIS COMMENT NOT CONSIDER.

Pls help me how to get justice & solution on this matter its serious matter !

All I can see is...watch out! You should sit down with your Manager and get the feedback. If possible you must get friendly with him and find out at a personal level.

They are irritating you and thus causing you to put down papers. It is very sad that the HR is acting spinless and cant see the facts in the case, or may be its possible that they all have decided that you need to go, so no one supporting you.
Its common, World class MNC, world class methods of harassments.
As your new boss has come, he would be wishing to get his people in, so possible that he might have told the management, that causing you to go out, would help in cost controlling and reduction in cost. So all this gimmicks.
My advise serach for new job.

Hey there,

I can just see that there is a negative message that has been passed on to you, no company would just negate your performance for past 11 months and just consider a one months review....

If you have proper documentation of the KRA's communicated to you along with your accomplishments, i would suggest you should put it on writing through email or any other modes and seek for justification. (No body can with out any proper reasoning say that you are not performing) Its better you cc to the HR and the current Manager and the CEO. You should also talk to your current manager personally and discuss with him about the issue and tell him how it is affecting your motivation, also check with him, what is expected out of you in terms of performance.

Once you receive justification, you could proceed further, in many a companies the PI is just a way to get rid of bottom performers and to play safe on termination of employees. So watch out.

Thanks for your comments & reply. As rightly replied I should discuss with NEW HOD / CEO / HR Head but already i am discussing & following with them but they fail to explian reason w/o any backup as my old boss knows how i perform & KRA / KPI met or not even I shown them my half yearly rating which meets goal but in vain.

So all this frustating me a lot. Even they told me change dept if possible & but already i have been posted & transfer from QA to PM with the request of old COO / CEO san almost 1.5 yrs back. Now both left

Now new CEO ( 10 mths ) has join & I think he his under the influence of my new HOD ( MKT head ) But i tried to explain the story but simply saying your performance not good. Even HR also supporting w/o any factual data backup.

So pls advise me how to proceed against TM. We have Corporate policy / HR function but my company violating all this procedure.

Even CEO says I dont believe in my old ( Japnese ) boss review but follows new boss remarks. So its very rediculous.

So Suggest me how to get justice solution.

Hello Freind , Thanks for comment. Yes it looks like that ? But its very serious in MNC such kind of things going on ?
HR not taking & checking actual fact just following new HOD remarks its very pitty.
Here I want to know is there any law to get justice on this matter. As few cases happen in this company.
Since 3 yrs I am working in this company so while attending new intw there is always question why switching the company which si very diff to explain the condition but me not sharing this fact ?
So request you to suggest needful.

Thanks for value comments. I tried the same but in vain .... No factual backup / evidenace , just giving generic comments that ur perf below mark. So no Incre / PI.

In fact I shown them my KRA/KPI & my old boss review copy but said we dont belive in old boss. So i am not able convinece them as person in front of me is Senior in position even HR also dont reviewed the condition just obeying his remark.
Even we had common meeting with CEO / NEW HOD / HR but none of them agrreed on my areas of working just giving me list of my negative points. And not taking about my actual acheivement. So its very unexpected from such high SR. post. They inform me you need to change drastically / also u shoud change Dept if possible in fact our old CEO / COO transfer me to this position now both left.
My old boss ( Japense ) may not able to change there decision as CEO / SR post person seating at top. But alreday rated me as GOOD .
So condition very bad how to convey them ???

Hey Suhas,

I understand you are in a dicey situation, the question here arises is of your growth.

As others have suggested, i would rather not just say of moving to a different company. If you wish to do so, you can always give a reason for change as growth factor. Since you have completed 3 years in the same company other companies would poke you much on the change aspect as you can always say the growth factor and learning. I would advise that, its better you dont mention about the politics runnin around in any of the interview, as the interviewer might become skeptic about your previous experience.

Whether it is your current company or a new company, please remember that you are the one who can lead your career upwards, though companies lay down policies, if you dont blow your trumpet from time to time, no body will even know that you exist. If you feel that you can acheive your career goals in your current organization in the long run then stick on. If it looks to be impractical and there are no such oppurtunities, the right thing would be to move. But remember politics and the things that you mentioned are very much common in corporate world.

Any ways to your concern, the legal way to proceed would be bring it to the notice of the labor authorities and take help of them, if you have the proper documentation with you, you can always sue your current company (for the mental agony that they have caused you) by being in the same company. Also if you have copy of your performance reviews for the last 2 years ie, befor the current appriasal cycle and if the performance has been good continuously, you can use it as a back up too. This would be a tough way to proceed, one needs time, patience and more importantly guts to make the legal way happen. It is one such way, which is rarely explored in India.

Dear Vivek san,
Thank you very much. Unfortunately all 3 big person invloved in this game & not my old boss ( Japnese ). WIll join after vacation may be 2 mrwo.
Also we have whistle blower policy in Coporate office so I am planning to forward this case to this team, which is my last hope.
Only I can tell you as nobody takes action on this .... is the real cause of corporate game & politics .. Its very difficult.
LET US SEE WHETHER TRUTH WINS OR POLITICS !!!
