In our company there is a rule that on promotion individual has to join within three months from the date of promotion otherwise his seniority is lost. In my case, I was on maternity leave and could not join within three months of issue of promotion order. I lost my seniority. Is it OK or there is any provision so that I can regain my seniority. Please help me.
