Just be a good human. work upon communication( am not talking about english but to understand and communicate) and listening( not mere hearing) skills.
Believe in the concept that you are for the people. Develop people oriented skills.
Develop a rational approach towards things and don't be just a mediator between management and employee. Develop strong rights and wrongs and at the same time develop the sense to judge that your rights and wrongs are beneficials and not disturbing the people.
Once you develop the above ( which is not as easy as it sounds), people will start coming to you, talking to you and we all know communication is the key to success for every HR professional.

If HR person select the any wrong person for the company so that affect quickly show the company's graph. before the any new recruitment we should confer that particular person is suitable or not..... that discount is directly effect of company's growth.
