Dear Mr. Khola,
In our Company we made a Standing Order in year 2005. But in the year 2007 we have changed our Company's name and in turn we not yet adopted the change in the Standing Order. In the mean time, we started another unit in another place. In this regard my questions are How we updated the registered stanting order and if it necessary a fresh one for our another unit or it' ll also applicable for the new unit.
Your valuable guidance need in this regard,
ram

Dear Ram,
As per section 10 of the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946 we are to apply for modification of the certified standing orders. In my opinion we are to apply again for your new unit for certification of standing orders. We may apply on the same lines as are already there in your first unit. If the representatives of this new unit do not do not have any objection then Certifying Officer will certify these S O on the same lines.

Dear Ram,
If the unit name at both the places are same then in that case also modification is required to add the name of the unit having different address. If no union is there then the representative of the workman will present their opinion/comments before the Certifying Officer of the area for any alternation/modification in the existing certified standing orders.
Regards,
