Dear Ranjini,
Please note that PF/ESI is applicable on:
ESI: Gross Salary 10000 or less
PF : Basic+DA 6500 or less
If gross salary is more than 10000 then ESI is not applicable
and Basic+DA is more than 6500 then PF is not applicable.

Dear all,
As per my knowldge on PF and ESi.....
yes PF is mandatory when the Basic + DA is Rs 6500/- and it is not mandatory when it is more than 6500 but certain process to followed like a declaration need to be taken during the time of joining in Form 11.
Overtime term in PF - need to check on this but as fas I know overtime is not computed for PF calculation.
ESI - tes if it is 10,001 then there is no ESI
Please advice If I wnt wrong in any aspects.
Thanks
