A employee expire after end of duty out of company gate ,His nominee claimed for Gtatuity/other benefit and I want to calulation of Payment of Gratuity.

in case of death legal heirs of deceased employees are entitled to get gratuity.the length of service does not have any concern with length of service.the calculation is done as below
basic+DA*number of years of service*15 than divide by 26

Dear Manoj,
During the death of an employee, Payment of Grautity will handover to nominee with submission of relevant documents. Payment of Gratuity = ( Basic + DA) * Number of Years of Service* 15 / 26
*Basic should be last drawn basic salary
Note :
Payment of Grautity is appliciable,
*) When the employee works for 240 days per year, less than 240 days grautity payable depends on sector he/she employeed. Example, Mining Sector it will be 120 days or more than that.
*)It is applicaible when an employee rendered service continously for five years.
*) Breakups are considered, it is evaluated on the basis of temporary, permanent diablement, and so on
