Hello,
There is nothing wrong in Husband and wife working together on a project / team. One aspect is important - on the job, the employer should not see them as Husband and wife - but purely emoployees assigned with a project. Also on the job - the employees have to understand that they are only team members and stay focused on the project work, and not deviate from significant issues due to things at home.
If the company feels their skills are apt for the project and they can work together, then well and fine.
But look at the other aspects too - tomorrow if the husband leaves, wife will also leave..So you need to make sure that there are sufficient people under them to take over the job once they leave!
