Dear Nithya,
I feel when we shoot these kind of questions to the candidates we get very standard answers as they have prepared themselves for these questions as u have visited the web sites even the candidates would have done that and planned accordingly so according to me the questinos should not be decided in advance it should be in flow than only we can actually understand the plus and minus.
Cheers,

Dear Nithya,
I too feel the same as Anisha has already stated, candidates are well prepared for these types of questions. I have personally counseled a lot of candidates on interview preparation and I was really amazed by the amount of preparation goes in before they start giving interviews.
None the less it could still be effective if you can time these questions properly taking, taking the candidate by surprise.
My preference would be to pull the same areas from the candidates resume.
The secret of conducting a successful interview is to be clear on what you intend to check, the way you route the entire interview process towards your objective and finally how you make the candidate do most of the talking.
Hope I haven’t confused you.
