Hi Folk,

Things you should do.

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

Three. When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.

Four. When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.

FIVE. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SIX. Believe in love at first sight.

SEVEN. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.

Eight. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.

Nine. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.

Ten
Don't judge people by their relatives.

Eleven. Talk slowly but think quickly.

TWELVE. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'

Thirteen. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

Fourteen. Say 'Bless You' when you hear someone sneeze.

FIFTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

SIXTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.

SEVENTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

Eighteen. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

NINETEEN. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
TWENTY. Spend some time alone.

Without hurting anybody's feeling and without any intention to discourage people to post on the site, I would like to share that this is a wonderful site brings out good HR learning. Hence, in order to maintain the significance of the site, let's not put forwarded emailers and messages which doesnt add value to our learnings and knowledge. Beleive me, it takes time to open messages and when there is nothing meaningful, it hurts. We already have lot of such group sites which floats these messages.
So let us maintain the contents of posts, restricted only to HR issues/ querries and which could bring some learnings.

Hi Sweta jain,
The thoughts are very good, especially,
"Don't judge people by their relatives"
and
"Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship"...
are really good. But they find apt place in 'Motivation & Development' and not in 'Performance Appraisal Management' forum.
Moreover the font size is also a bit annoying. Wherever you post it, please reduce the size.....
