Hi all,
I am planning to create an audio Mp3 file of British words and phrases that are difficult to pronounce. I am currently looking for suggestions of any words or phrases that you think should be included on the list.
I am particularly interested in those words/phrases used in a Business or Office context.
I am a professional British voiceover artist so I hope by creating this audio recording with my native british accent will help trainers and students alike.
I look forward to receiving your suggestions!
All the best

Hi Instead of giving recordings of each words, give an audio file having the general rules for RP.

Hi Rajatrachar, Many thanks for your suggestion. It is something I shall look into as unfortuntely I don’t know of ,or if, there are any general rules of RP. Thanks again Alison

Dear Alison, May I suggest you record pronunciations of Words and phrases where the RP and the American pronunciation differs. Regards Bob

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your suggestion - the difficulty is that I am a british voiceover only so wouldn't be able to voice the american pronunciation side.
I think I may hold off on my project as I'm having difficulty finding any written documents to help support the recordings. My conclusion is that an audio file of this subject is not actually needed by anyone so would be pointless in producing it.
As yet I've not received any feedback from all those who requested the british accent mp3 file so its difficult to gauge whether this or any future recordings would be of use.
If I come across any word doc or presentations that I think would benefit from being produced as an audio recording I shall be sure to let you and the other forum members know.
Thanks again
