Hi all ....!

The Haryana Government have introduced the Self-Certification Scheme to curve the tedency of "Inspector Raj". The objective of the scheme is to facilitate a hassie free functioning of the Industry and at the sama time ensure legitimate protection to the workers. The scheme is streamlining the requirement of inspection of specific industrial units under the different act.
With a view to encourge the growth of Information Technology, bio-Technology and Export-oriented industrial units which will ultimately lead to the economic growth of the State besides providing employment opportunities to the people, the Government recognizes the straregic importance of such industries. There is presistent demand by different associations of employers in the state for introduction of Self-Certification. Thereofore, the Government have decided to extend this facility at the outset only to the Information Technology Industry, I.T. enabled services, Bio-Technolgy establishments, Export oriented units and units in Export Processing Zones at initial stage under the following Labour Laws:-
1. The Factories Act, 1948
2. The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961
3. The Contract Labour (R & A) Act, 1970
4. The Payment of Wages Act, 1936
5. The Minimum Wages Act, 1948
6. The Punjab Shops and Commerical Establishement Act, 1958

The requisite formats under the aboe act and rules made thereunder for Self-Certification have been devised but the Labour Department shall have full powers to inspect the above related industries/establishments at any time on any complaint received and to take action against the erring management for the deviations, if any found, as per the provisions of the relevent Act and Rules made thereunder.

Pls. find attached all the Proforma for Self-Certification for all the above mentioned Act, except - The Factories Act, 1948 (I will post the same by Monday as i am in process to create a soft copy of this.)

I am working with Concessionaire & Independent Engineer send us a letter to fill the Per forma 1 of labour employment as per conract labour act. Please suggest us what action to be taken of above.

So, at last its going on board after 8 years; the concept was originally shared / proposed by Central Labour Authorities way back in year 2008; although notifications yet to be received from Central/State Labour Authorities....
