The executive secretary is kind of the go between from the boss and the executive assistant but with much less power. The executive assistant takes care of business relating to the boss both work and personal. The secretary arranges appointments and juggles the bosse's agenda in general relating to business and not personal.

Executive Assistant's profile is more of analytical nature .He is almost right hand of his boss. The word assistant itself indicates that he assists his boss in carrying out the task.Whereas when we talk about a secratary he work is more of routine nature and hioghly repetitive requiring low analytical skills..The secratary job is more of do as directed while assistants job is more of do as required with analytical blend of mind.
