Dear Madhuji,
It is shocking to receive a biggest blow by CPFO to stop payment of my enhanced pension (after the SC judgement on Mr. Gupta Case in 2016) alongwith my several colleages who were retired prior to 1.9.14 and sending notice to recover from us lakhs of rupees on the plea of excess payment of pension. This has been done mercilessly by the EPFO against the old pensioners after the 3 member SC Bench headed by Justice U.Lalit admitted for hearing the review petition filed by EPFO & central Labour ministry against above sc judgement of 2016.What is your views on this action of EPFO and what is the ruling of SC held sofar.
With Regards,

In my opinion this is a shameful political game. This was expected when the Central government also became a party to the case supporting the EPFO. This is something which a law enforcing body should not do and that too against pensioners. This happens only in India where the common men had to bear the loss of a public sector bank when crores of rupees from that bank was looted by a business man. This happens only in India where law is enacted for the BENEFIT of a section of the people who do not want that BENEFIT. No more comments........

I would like to request all the community members,(who were retired prior to 1/9/2014 and got enhanced pension over actual wages after depositing arrear pension contribution from 16.11.95 till their retirement) to enlighten each other through this portal if they have been now denied the enhanced pension and asked to deposit the excess pension amt with EPFO and if so what action they have taken or planning to take.
