Hi,
Both your stories were good. But these stories make me so emotional sitting in my workplace.
It is only offlate that iam not compromising my personal life to my work, because I have realised the importance of family. But it was not possible for me to do that in my previous job, mainly because I was of a junior profile and secondly at the time of interview with my new employer I made it clear that I would not work Saturdays and Sundays. Many times it would not be possible to compromise in the workplace for a junior profile person.
Sometimes when the work demands me to work late or work an extra day, I try to take a break to make up for that lost day with my family. Balance is very important to me.
Keep it up going, it was a good article.

These days it is so easy to fall into the trap of putting too much of ourselves into work and not family. What is good is that we realise it before it is too late.
