The definition of workmen is incorporated in Industrial Employment ( Standing Orders) Act, 1946 from Industrial Disputes Act 1947.
Since the labour through the contractor is not included in the definition of workman under Industrial Disputes Act 1947, the same is not required to be counted for ascertaining the applicability of .Industrial Employment ( Standing Orders) Act, 1946.
