Neroyoung,
First of all you remove from your mind that you are working for 9 hours daily. You avail 45 minutes lunch break and 15 minutes short break (May be Tea Time). This 1 hours you subtract from 9 hrs. that means you work for 8 hrs a day and 48 hours in a week as per law.
There is a provision in Factories Act, 1948 to give rest after working of 5 hours but that is over and above your 8 hrs. working and not within the 8 hrs. working.
Hope the above is cleared now.

Suresh

Hi Suresh,
Please provide a pdf document or link to government website to prove your point.
I'm having hard time working in office from 10 AM to 7 PM. It consumes my entire day and I have no life because of it.
On Sunday instead of resting, I have to work my pending house hold stuffs.
This goes on and on 365 days a year without break.
