Dear Mr. Ramesh,
It is correct that while uploading the txt file KYC scan document is not reqd to upload.
It is required to prepare the file as name as per KYC document and keep ready renamed as formated.

The Excell format has to be macro enabled format designed as per guidance of the Correct Method guidelines
given in the EPFO website. Once we convert the excel file into .txt format the same should be in a format
(sample screen shot is also given in the EPFO website) Can anyone be able to upload Macro Enabled Excel file

The Excel format which is given by me, is only for the purpose of / helping in gathering the KYC and not for upload or converting in to text file for upload.

but then why they have mentioned scanned documents screen shot in correct method's pdf file.m not clear that either we have to scan the documents to create zip file or not???

Dear Mr. Ramesh,
The scan document in only to preserve with employer as per naming procedure. Presently PF Dept has asked to upload the file as per KYC document.
Afterwards, the same is to be linked with KYC scanned documents along with employer digital signature.

Just now i had uploaded text file but it was getting some errors
(Err 023) Line is not as per UAN KYC format (13 Fields separated by #~# not found) on line number 1
But i cannot able to find this error

Dear Mr. Praveen,
PF office has changed file format from 7 to 13 fields.
Prepare fresh file as for 13 fields. The members whose DOJ / DOB / Middle Name is available will be seen in PDF file for approval, rest all will be seen in missing details file.
Update the missing details and generate PDF and upload.
Revised user manual is attached for your reference.
