There is no particular rule for companies regarding appraisal. Even an employee can get 4 appraisal in a year. This happened to one of my friend.So, its clear that the appraisal would happened due to the performance of an employee. It doesn\'t mean quantity of work. Its all about the quality of work that he/she has done.
