Management always look at the findings to avoid spending on welfare measures to the employees. Any way coming to your point --
If your Company registered under the Apprentice Act ,then you can pay stipend with deduction of ESI is mandatory and EPF contributions not falls liability of Employer,morally it good to provide EPF to Apprentice for social security.
Please go through Apprentice Rules of your state.

Dear Madhu, Its depends on company norms. if your company is registered with PF/ESI.You can make the deductions otherwise no. Leela-HR Vijayawada.

It depends upon Company Norms.
U can show the apprentice candidates as Offroll Employees & u can dispatch their sal by Hand.
There is no need to deduct any PF or any other statuary deductions.
Or else your can show them as onrolls and can deduct PF also( if they want).
