Luckily No...they haven't taken any resignation letter....only a transfer letter was provided to all the employees whom they shifted that too on the letter head of previous company.....but the thing is i have taken out the PF of my last company....as they were not transferring the PF to new company....and the details of PF account of new company does not appear on net at all....infact none of the employee who has left from new company still didn't get their PF...either the form will get reject or there will be no news.....only in the PF form of last company HR told us to mention the reason of leaving as Resigned.....will that create any problem......

Good that Mr. Sivakumaran has asked you this question,
- as it was said before, if the companies are connected there is nothing to think about it, but your answer here implies few things, if you may wish to clarify, :
1) did you previous company, holding company of the sister concern or vice versa, under go any liquidation process??
2) or did they close the branch completely?
3) are there any branches (in other places) are still active with the same company name?
4) was it an option given to the employees either to quit in a given period or they would be providing you the options for placing you in other company??
