Hi everyone,
Does anyone have the latest guidelines on how to lease a car to employees
(as per Indian laws). I surfed a lot however did not find the sufficient details.
I would also like to know the pros and cons of leasing cars to employees from company point of view.
Can anyone help me drafting a policy for my company ?
Thanks a lot .

Dear Mr. Rajiv
The Employer PF will be shown on CTC and not on Gross Salary. You may like to correct the same. Further the short forms Like MR, etc., may be given full expanded version, so that everyone can understand.

Dear Mr. Bhaskar
Thanks for the inputs..
You are right that Employer cont to PF is never shown as part of Gross salary although it is part of CTC.
I will correct that.
Yes, the abbreviations should have been avoided for better understanding.
appreciate your feedback.

TDS means Income Tax deducted at source. So fundamentally, it is nothing but Income Tax only.
The difference necessary for understanding is that through TDS provisions, Government has ensured early recovery of Income Tax as it is deducted by employer while making salary payment and deposited with the government treasury.
Employee while filing I T R claims the TDS to be setoff against his/her Income Tax Liability.
