dear ,
i want to know if any person in last company drawing basic less lhen 6500/- and he join our concern on more then 6500/-(i.e. 6700 or some thing else) then is it neccasary to legally deduct his PF or it is voluntarily.Is there any legal support for that.
secondly,
one person drawing more then 6500/- and contributing to the PF in last company and now in new company has any legal boundation for that.
pls let me know.

I am Yogesh currently joined As a HR Executive in one of the Auto ancillary which is based at Pithampur,
i have a confusion please let me know that, If any employee is coverd under the PF act but, they don't want to contribute for the PF scheme. what will be the procedure to stop that deduction from their salary. what is employers responsibility regarding that Please reply soon.

Dear Mr.Yogesh
This is not possible that you do not deduct PF contribution from the empoyee's salary if his/her Basic+DA is less than or equal to 6500.This is mandatory iF your organisation is covered under PF act.
Your responsibility as an employer is to register emloyees under PF act and educate them on the same ,failing which you may be penalised by PF authorities.

Thank for the reply, for Is PF is compulsory on not. Now, Iwant to know that, If any employee is not agree to deduct PF" so Is it Possible or not Reply soon.
Means Not ready to contribute for PF
