[Dear Srinivasan
There already exists combination of these standards and are known as Integrated Management System. We have already implemented this system since 2009 and audited the same.
Just sharing info.

Dear Sir,
With regard to OHSAS 18001:2007, I would like to add some more thing . In 1996 the ISO14001:1996 was released which was so simple and user friendly organizations stated showing interest in this standard.
In the same year in England the BS8800:1996 was released for Occupational health and safety management system .In 1999 the OHSAS 18001 :1999 was released as ISO has not approved the OHSAS standard.
About 13 certification bodies joint together and released the OHSAS 18001:1999 based on BS 8800:1996 but it took the structure of the ISO14001:1996. The British standard Institute published this standard, but please note it is not BSI standard. If you compare the ISO14001:1996 with OHSAS 18001:1999 and ISO14001:2004 with that of OHSAS 18001:2007 you can find that there is no difference in the structure of the system.
There is guidance standard OHSAS 18001:2008 which explains the standard.
But one day will come when we may get one standard for Quality, environment and Safety & health management system as one can not separate all these.

Dear neeraj4all,
Dear sir,
Thank you for kind response. As OHSAS is not an ISO standard even when organizations implement Integrated management system, we will be getting separate certificates based on the requirements of the individual standards like ISO9001,ISO14001 AND OHSAS18001.
What I meant is one single standard incorporating quality, environment and health and safety will come soon. As of now till ISO accepts or give new standard for health and safety this is not possible. As the response for OHSAS18001 is so good the day will come when ISO will consider for one standard for all quality, environment and health and safety which will be much helpful for the organizations.
In this connection it is worthwhile to compare that OHSAS18001 has good response not only globally but also in India even though B.I.S has given one standard called IS 18001 which is similar to OHSAS 18001.

Dear Minrah
I hope that for implementing the IMS you might have hired any consultancy... Ask them samples, from which you can make the required document so easily...
Or else just post what draft you prepared for the comments from the forum members...
