Dear Members,
I would also like to thank to Shewta for sparing her valuable time in preparing/ collecting this material. Form 10 C is in duplicate. PF word file says that for PF formalities the company must be 3 years old & thereafter it can be registered with PF department. I wanted to clear whether this statement is correct. What are the formalities we are to complete after 3 years except registration.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Bhawna,
With effect from 1-8-1988 , the Provident fund Act is applicable to the establishment employing twenty or more persons on expiry of a period of three years from the date of set up . From 22-9-1997 this infancy of three years has been dispensed with and all the establishments employing 20 or more persons are brought under the purview of the Act from the very date of set up subject to fulfillment of other conditions . The provisions of the Act applies on its own force independently .
Once your registration is completed and Employee is allotted a employee code.
A new employee should fill Form 2 and Form 11.
The Employer should start deducting PF contribution from himself and the employee. Then he should file the monthly returns and yearly returns accordingly.

Dear All,
Is it mandatory for the companies to offer a CTC to the candidates/employees exclusive of the employer's contribution to EPF (which is 12% + taxes; around 13.6%)?
Can a company include his share of EPF contribution into the CTC? Is it legal, illegal or does it depends on the company's wish?
