Hi Jansi, I totally agree that there is no better option than to gather knowledge from books and make a nice resume highligting your knowledge of core HR activities.

I disagree to people who say that no additional qualification is required.
As a HR Manager will you appoint a person with a different skill than the job he applies for. I am sure your answer is no....
If your keen on doing HR job you must attend additional training/ Workshop.
A nice coming which can aimed at imparting knowledge that is required to perform on day to day basis this December.
The certificate program will be a garnish to your resume...
PRACTICE EVERYTHING THAT EQUIPS YOU TO be a successful HR generalist.
