Dear Sir,
Please send me the OT calculation in Excel Sheet. Situation is as follow:
We are running the Production in Quota Basis.We have 2 Line for the production of IMFL of Different Sizes Qts Pints and Nips
EG
Quota is Production of 500 C/s for Qts in 8 Hrs with 42 Labours.
Now
1.the Labours finished the quota in 6hrs and in two Hrs they do extra Production
2. if labour is less than 42 quota is reduced by 20 c/s , distrubution of OT.
Kindly help me.

Dear Mr. Virender Singh, As you mentioned above he (workman) shall be entitled to wages (not OT) at the rate of twice his ordinary rate of wages. Is it right? Regards, Vilas

This is just a wrong presentation ..it should be removed from the site. there is no term like non statutory OT. No provision of 1.5 times OT

In our factory 480 employees are working.
In some occasions we have to take extra work from workers. We are already paying double payment for OT.
My query is
1. Is it compulsory to take permission from Factory Inspector for overtime.
2. If a worker found sleeping during overtime. Can we take deciplinary action against him.
3. How many OT hours we can take in a week.

I am sorry to say that in power point presentation of overtime wrong information is given.No where 1.5 rate of payment is mentioned in the law
