Again in my opinion a guy who is absent for five days you cannot terminate him without giving show cause notice & warning letters for example a guy who belongs to some remote village & at that time all the communication service & postage service gone out of order,or he met with an accident and unable to send message at that time you cannot terminate him because he might caught in some natural calamity.
You have to issue atleast three warning letters(Regd) then you can terminate him.
