Hi Raja, No any specific topic in Factory Act but regulates through "Induatrial Employment Standing Orders Act". Generally speaking, its obligation for employer to issue wage slip 2 days before the disbursement on or before 7th of every month ,if 100 workers otherwise upto 10th. Regards Sidheshwar

Dear Sidheswar, Thanks for the clarification. I would request you to please quote the particular section in the standing orders Act which requires management to issue wage slips. One more doubt. There are factories which do not employ 100 or more people and to which the Standing orders Act is not applicable. Which other legal provision can we quote for them (factories where less than 100 workers are working) to issue wage slips to workers. Thanks for the support. Best regards, Raja G

Dear Shailendra, Plz go through the Minimum wages notification of your state if your unit is covered under the Minimum Wages Act.1948. See if different components are allowed or not. Regards R.N.khola Sr Associate (Haryana)
