The HR policies of a manufacturing company are partially governed by the law in force, ie, Factories Act which regulates conditions of employment, health, safety and welfare of employees, payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Maternity Benefits Act, ESI Act, EPF & MP Act etc and partially by policies of the respective company which will certainly be influenced by the attitude of the employer/ managing committee. Therefore, I am unable to start the discussion without knowing from which point we should start. Can you please initiate it from the point from which you would like to know the things?
