Hello Everyone, Kindly help me with this regard.
I recently joined a company “XYZ” and absconded in 3 days as I had to drop out due to a family emergency and issue. My UAN service history is showing that I am added as a member of the company and there is a joining date mentioned. As I tried to mark the exit date via epfo member portal it did not allow me to do the needful as there are no contributions and it mentioned to contact the employer. It's understandable I won't be getting contributions in that account as I have left the firm within 3 days.
My concerns are:-
1) Will I be able to join a new company with no exit date marked on my account?
2) Can the employer mark the Exit date without any contributions? I am sure they cannot delete it now as The Date of joining is already feeded.
Please help Guys.

Hi,

XTZ Employer should mark exit date. As you had absconded they might mark exit after following disciplinary process.

Your employer is supposed to process 3 days salary and to credit 3 days PF into your PF account. You need to wait till month end salary cycle after which they might process and credit.

Hi,

The employee can mark the DOE in PF however request the employer to mark the DOE
Otherwise you may delete the service by one member transfer option before check the PF passbook contribution made in that service
